With a lunchtime tide and forecast for dying wind it had to be another early session. Michele rang at 6.30am and we decided it was worth a go. On the water a bit before 8am on 12m kites and it was quite good with the westerly wind. Tried to get out into the waves but just not enough power to get out into wind. Fairly nice cruising up and down on the flat water though. Wind died after an hour or two so swapped to my 155cm board and of course the wind filled a bit so another nice half hour. Loads of kiters appeared - I counted 10 on the water at one point (would have made a nice picture with sun white water and layers of mist) but a but congested because everyone was struggling for power in the shallow water. Left around midday despite the wind building again, but I don't think it lasted. Still , it was worth getting up for - have been spoiled lately with all the 9m weather :)
